Honda Civic Hybrid Named “Best New Car for Teens” by U.S. News & World Report
To the surprise of absolutely no one the 2025 Honda Civic Hybrid yet again earns another influential award: the Best New Car for Teens by the U.S. News & World Report.
After 11 generations…sheesh has it really been that long? America’s best-selling compact car since 1973 continues to lead the way—especially among Gen Z, first-time buyers, and multicultural drivers. And it’s easy to see why.
For starters, every 2025 Civic Hybrid comes standard with Honda Sensing®, a suite of advanced safety features that includes Collision Mitigation Braking, Lane Keeping Assist, Adaptive Cruise Control, and more.
For 2025, these safety systems are faster and smarter with improved detection for motorcycles and bicycles which we know is a big deal in Florida. Sport trims also add Blind Spot Monitoring and Rear Cross Traffic Alert for extra peace of mind.
Engineered with Honda’s exclusive ACE™ architecture and next-gen airbags designed to protect your head from whiplash, the 2026 Civic Hybrid raises the bar for safety in its class. Simply put, it’s a car that looks out for you—on every drive.
Technically, every current Honda model is an award-winner but the Honda Civic Hybrid continues to overachieve and deliver an impressive package in a cozy size! Plus EPA-rated 50 MPG city / 45 MPG hwy is nothing to sneeze at.
2026 Honda Passport Gets on the Podium at BAJA 500
The rugged 2026 Honda Passport just proved it can hang with the big boys—literally. At this year’s grueling Baja 500 off-road race, Honda’s custom-built Passport SUV went head-to-head with massive V8-powered trucks and finished strong: 2nd place in the 2WD Trophy Truck class.
Driven by 19-year-old Ethan Ebert and his team, the Passport tackled a brutal 463-mile course packed with mountains, mud, and mayhem. Not only did it hold its own against higher-horsepower competitors, it even started the race in pole position—a first for Honda in this elite racing class.

Despite mid-race setbacks like tire punctures and a faulty impact wrench (which required an old-school breaker bar fix!), the team pushed through with grit and precision. The Passport’s 3.5L V6 roared across canyons and coastlines, keeping pace with the best in off-road racing.
In a field dominated by off-road monsters, a Honda SUV earned serious respect—and a place on the podium!
