2024 Honda Prologue Trim Details

I know we've talked about the 2024 Honda Prologue before (you can check out our past issues here), but I wanna take it a step further and get into the trim details.

Between the EX, Touring, and Elite models, there's something for everyone in the 2024 Honda Prologue. Check out this table and see for yourself!

My favorite feature? I've gotta go with the 11.3-inch infotainment system. I love Apple CarPlay, but WIRELESS Apple CarPlay? Heck yeah, lemme ditch the cable and connect in style. 😎

And don't think I forgot about the 12-speaker Bose audio system! Can you imagine a car karaoke session with -not ten, not eleven- TWELVE speakers?

Any other features stand out to you? What do you think is your favorite? Lemme know by replying to this email, and I'll send you the perfect song for your next highway adventure. 🎶🎤

2024 Honda CR-V: A Closer Look

The Honda CR-V has been known through the years as the best rugged and reliable compact SUV that money can buy. I may be biased (I'm a CR-V driver myself) but the awards and great reviews speak for themselves.

In 2024, the CR-V has a variety of models to choose from. There's the LX, the EX, the Sport Hybrid, the EX-L, the Sport-L Hybrid, and the Sport Touring Hybrid, oh my!

Regardless of the model you choose, each CR-V comes equipped with Honda Sensing Safeties and Driver-Assistive Technologies, and a Reclining, Fold-Down 60/40 Split Rear Seatback. Check out the details of each trim here.

How's the cargo space, you ask? 39.3 cubic feet of space, and thanks to that fold-down rear seat, 76.5 cubic feet with the seats down. That's 14,556 bananas worth of space with the seats up, and 28,333 bananas with the seats down. That's A LOT of bananas! 🍌 🍌 🍌

Hooked On Afeela: Sony & Honda’s Latest EV Venture

Industry giants Sony and Honda have partnered together (as Sony Honda Mobility) to create a new line of EVs under the name Afeela. Afeela plans to debut a sedan as early as 2026, with an SUV in 2027, and a supposedly "affordable" compact sedan in 2028.

Afeela's concept car, unveiled at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas in January, appears to be THE car of the future. It was even "driven" onto the stage using a PS5 controller. That’s pretty cool.

Check out this recap of the concept vehicle for their upcoming sedan. What do you think of that steering wheel? How about the "media bar" between the headlights and rear lights? That’s a feature I’d probably have too much fun with.

Blast From the Past: The Honda Beat (1991-1996)

Imagine with me for a second: it's 1991, you're in Japan, and everyone is driving a small, ugly car. If only there was a kei-car (regulation "light automobile" for Japan) that wasn't so unappealing. Lucky you! Honda just released their latest roadster; the Honda Beat.

This particular Honda set out to update the standard and create a new culture of fun! The removable canvas roof is an added bonus to this lil' guy’s get-up-and-go, and nearly guaranteed a smile for the driver and passenger.

Check out this POV test drive and tell me you wouldn’t wanna try this Honda Beat!

Oh look, a Honda Beat! 👀

That's all, folks! I hope you enjoyed this month's Classic Honda newsletter. How'd I do? Hit the poll, drop a comment, or zap me a reply email.

And hey, follow us on social media - our socials guy could really use the boost.
